Google+, Day 2: Jumping Onto Google+
30 Days With Google+: Day 2
It seems apropos to start the 30 Days With Google+ journey at the beginning. Google+ has an estimated 25 million or so users right now, but it is still operating in an invitation-only “field trial”. So, I managed to get an invitation, now what?
When I received the email invitation to join Google+, I got started by clicking the prominent red button that says “Join Google+”. That took me to a page declaring “Welcome to the Google+ project.”

The bottom line is that Chrome and Safari have been steadily rising, while Internet Explorer and Firefox have been steadily falling. Given the relatively small differences month to month, it will still take years before Chrome passes Firefox–never mind catching up to IE, but the trend is what it is.

30 Days With Google+
30 Days With Google+: Day 1
Today begins my fourth “30 Days With…” journey. Coming off of a month working with the iPad to find out whether it can suffice as a replacement for a Windows-based PC, I am ready to take on a new challenge: Google+.
Google+ is Google’s latest attempt at social networking. The initial reception of Google+ has been predominantly positive. At face value, it seems to be part Facebook, part Twitter, and all Google.
