FalconStor Software Updates Product Line To Provide Larger Volumes And Increased Scalability

FalconStor Software Inc. has announced version 7.0 of its data protection product family, offering new features across the company’s product line. New features in this version of the software include increasing the Logical Unit Number (LUN) size from 16 terabytes to 64 TB, which allows the software to support larger physical disks of up to 3 TB, and in general helps provide support for larger volumes and increased scalability for users.

Google+, Day 17: Sorting Circles by “Relevance” Is Flaky

Over the course of the 30 Days With Google+ series I have steadily acquired more people following me in Google+. Many of those users I know and interact with, and many of them are perfect strangers. I’d like to be able to easily identify the ones I know and add them to my Circles, but the “Relevance” filter in Google+ leaves a little something to be desired.

Cisco Jumps Into The M2M Market

Analysts predict that there will be 25 billion connected IP devices by 2015, with machine to machine (M2M) traffic expected to grow by 258 percent, and the managed mobile M2M services market to be worth $ 20 billion by 2014. That’s good enough reason for Cisco to release a new router that will extend corporate networks to billions of non-traditional IP devices such as ATMs, service vehicles, digital billboards and vending machines.
