A provider of a cloud-based integrated development environment (IDE) for Java applications, eXo has announced that apps built on its platform can now be deployed on VMware’s Cloud Foundry platform-as-a-service (PaaS) offering. The eXo support of Cloud Foundry means that developers can gain the same advantages of cloud computing — simplicity, lower costs, no maintenance — to write applications that are deployed by Cloud Foundry.
